Here is a selection of case studies from recent successful itineraries we have arranged for varying groups:

Case study: Miami Opera

We arranged with New Orleans Opera Association for a black tie reception for the group. It was with the New Orleans Opera Guild in the Garden District to welcome them to the city. Patrons from the three New Orleans Opera Associations were there.

We arranged invitations for them to attend one the private rehearsals that were happening as there were no opera performances going on that week.

We arranged a tour focusing on the operatic history of New Orleans, as well as the city’s theater district.

The day included:

A short lecture on Opera History of New Orleans given by the New Orleans Women’s Opera Guild.

A private showing and luncheon at Le Petit Theatre in the French Quarter (the home of the Spanish Colonial Governor whom was influential in bringing opera to New Orleans in the 18th Century).

Dinner at Commander’s Palace after a tour and talk by local New Orleans historian and author, Professor Frank Perez, who has extensive knowledge of New Orleans opera and theatre history.

The next day included an architectural and art tour, including a stop at the former house of artist Edgar Degas, also including literary landmarks relevant to Tennessee Williams and William Faulkner.

A jazz brunch and private dinner completed the day.
